Terry Ellis

Born in Browns Mills, NJ, and raised as a proud military brat, Terry Ellis spent several years living in Germany before returning to South Jersey to pursue his passion for beauty and design. After earning his degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Johnson & Wales University, he graduated from the Rizzieri Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness and began his career at Clique Salon and Spa, where he built a strong foundation in cutting, coloring, and styling.

Terry later joined Essensuals London, where he and Holly Wood first collaborated—forming a creative partnership grounded in artistry, precision, and a shared love for color. Together, they went on to work Intercoiffure Hair Shows with the Essensuals London and label.m session team, led by the late Toni Mascolo of Toni & Guy UK.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Terry has earned the title of Certified Goldwell Master Colorist and Master Stylist, specializing in sew-in extensions and renowned for his ability to complete even the thickest, most challenging hair flawlessly and in record time.

After years of success running his own salon suite, Salon Spectrum: The Suite, Terry has reunited with Holly at Holly Wood Color Room, where their combined expertise, creativity, and passion bring clients a luxury salon experience unlike any other.
